Eureka Woodworks, Inc., is a family owned business representing four generations of woodworkers starting way back in 1910. At that time Wilk Tool Company was formed to provide hardware and tools for the growing construction industry in Houston, TX. Harry Wilk, Sr., set the tone for our then and future woodworking businesses. Honest dealings, continued business improvement and fair value to all customers and that has been our motto ever since, now almost 100 years! |
Harry Wilk, III, an avid woodworker was building Adirondack Style Furniture for sale in Corpus Christi, TX in and around 2000-2001 and was looking through the internet for ideas and happened upon a company called Wood Canada. Wood Canada had developed a turn-key woodworking business opportunity based on building and selling a complete line of Adirondack Furniture providing a complete line, lumber source, marketing materials, etc., A giant shortcut in the eyes of Harry Wilk, III. He reviewed it and signed up for what is now the Eureka Producer Program. Harry, III organized his business under the name of Eureka Woodworks, a registered company headquartered in Texas.
During the next two years, Harry, III made the Eureka Woodworks company the largest supplier of Adirondack Garden Furniture in South Texas. About this time, the owner of Wood Canada wanted to do something else and Harry, III offered to purchase the company. In late 2002 a deal was struck and the Wilk Family was again in the woodworking business offering what today is America’s Best & Original Woodworking Business Opportunity. |
| We immediately took to improving the original concept by revamping almost everything putting to use the ideas for improvement that Harry, III gleamed as a Wood Canada Producer for over two years. The immediate improvements included updating the operations manual, revising the sales & marketing guide, adding new template sets, adding new assembly jigs, securing better sources of raw materials (wood, hardware, etc), creating better Eureka Producer point-of-sale websites, adding new products to be offered such as the folding chair & rocker and much more. All along the way, we have enlisted the input of or Eureka Producers for their ideas as to how to improve the Eureka Producer Program as we felt their input was essential. In less than four years, Eureka Woodwork’s Producer Program had grown to over 100 satisfied Producers located in the United States and Canada. |

Not one for resting on his laurels, Harry, III has teamed up with Desoto Mfg., Products and their chief designer and owner, Mark Aiken, to develop a better line of cutting and assembly jigs to improve the efficiency & speed of operation of each Eureka Producer. The new FactoryTrac ™ Jig Fixture System , includes a new t-track variable spacing assembly table that the new multi-purpose assembly jigs mount to for ease of operation. Currently, this includes the new & improved Adirondack Chair & Love Seat assembly jig, the new Adirondack Foot Rest assembly jig, and the new & improved Junior/Buddy Bench assembly jig. In addition, we have added a new & improved T-Cutting jig and Back Cutting Jig. Very shortly the new & improved Garden Chair & New Garden Bench assembly jig will also be available. In design is a new multi-purpose back assembly jig. Each and every jig features everything necessary to provide a safe work environment and maximum shop efficiency. |
| In 2005, a fourth generation Wilk woodworker, Harry (Billy) Wilk, IV, joined our team to open our training facility in the Dallas area. We feature regular training sessions there where current Eureka Producers come to learn, share ideas, meet fellow Eureka Producers and have some fun! In addition, we make this facility available for future Eureka Producers to visit, meet us, provide answers to their questions and to assist them in anyway we can. |
In 2006 we will add a new & improved Eureka Producer Operations Manual, a new and improved website complete with password protected Producer area to provide tips, ask questions, etc.; new products will be added including a Garden Bench, a Adirondack Glider Chair and a Adirondack Glider Love Seat.
