|I am a retired 30 year, cross country, truck driver and tinkered in my garage woodshop with various projects like Country crafts, Bunk beds & Pendulum baby cradles made from Walnut, Cherry, Oak and Ash hardwoods. Nice projects but not very satisfying. Too time consuming and I felt as though I was just working for a small salary|
One evening while reading a woodworking magazine, I saw a small black and white ad regarding the high profit margin in making Adirondack chairs from Western Red Cedar. I answered the ad and ordered a chair to assemble and knew immediately that this is what I wanted to do.
Harry Wilk explained the program to me in detail and I signed up for the whole ball of wax. My first concern was if he would still help me with information about the business after I gave him my money. Answer, "Yes." I have been disappointed in the past, after taking my money no one was available to answer my questions or concerns. I was on my own. That was two years ago and all the Eureka Associates have always been more than helpful anytime I needed them.
March of 2005 I moved from my garage workshop to a 3,000 square foot industrial building and my wife, Marilyn, named the business LifeStyle WoodWorks. Instead of ordering 1 pallet of wood I now order six pallets at a time. We employee 3 workers besides my wife and I. We produce about a dozen chairs at a time then start on tables or other projects.
We are adding as many distributors as we can to carry our products as well as some distributors who just buy the high detail kits to assemble and sell on weekends. I thoroughly enjoy the business and have not regretted a day since I joined the Eureka team. This program has given me a great income in doing what I like doing and an opportunity to meet people who love the products. Thanks again Harry.
