| 1. Contractor
or larger table saw; at least 1 1/2hp; 10" blade
size: Used for ripping stock to proper specified widths |
| 2. Chop/Miter saw or radial
arm saw: Used for cutting stock to length and proper
angles |
3. 14" or larger band saw,
at least 3/4hp: Used for cutting parts with Back and
T Jig; cutting template parts (1)
(1) above assumes that template parts will be
cut out on band saw; optionally can use router set up to cut
parts, see our operations manual for that information; requires
a special table, pin router set up, special bit and Porter Cable
3 1/2hp router |
| 4. Dust collection unit:
Used for collecting wood sawdust, optional. |
| 5. Drum Sander: Used
for production sanding of all parts, optional. |
| 6. Drill Press: Used
to drill and counter sink parts, optional |
| 7. Combination pneumatic balloon
and flap sander; at least I hp: Used for cleaning up
kerf marks and edges of all parts, optional. |

in major equipment above if building many furniture items due
to time saving and user fatigue; still need oscillating sander
for touch up, etc. |

for shop clean up and can be a vacuum for most equipment attachments. |
| 5. Miscellaneous including, tape measure, drivers
for driving screws, 1/4" round over router bit, various
grades of sanding discs for oscillating sander, drill bits,
